A friend found me a Thing! I said buy it, he did Can any body tell me what year etc... from the picture??? paperwork coming later

It looks like a 74, they came with the air ducts over the vents. You can make sure that someone did not just add the vents. If you look in the engine compartment and there is a large square hole, not louvers (SP?) then it is a 74.
Other differences are if it does not have a gas heater ( roundish thing in the trunk right near the dash) and heater boxes, then it is a 74.
Also, if there are hoses that run allong the tunnel and one from the tunnel to the dash it is a 74.

Looks like a 74 to me too. Post the vin # and you will get a better answer. It look fairly complete and in decent shape, Congratulations. You will enjoy driving it. |

Thanks guys I didn't care to much what it was, or anything But 74 is a good year I will get the title transfer later on and post the serial # It's 2500 miles away so I'll wait till it gets good and cold here and plan a trip south to pick it up thanks for the info. _________________ 1967 Ghia ( currently on rotisserie) resto custom
