The topic of the VW Bug gorilla in western Vermont came up recently but I couldn't find my photo of it. Here he is. Enjoy. (If anybody knows the year of that bug I'll stick the photo in the appropriate gallery; I didn't want to offend anyone.)

Based upon what I can see of the bug, I think it is a 1973 standard beetle.

Hey, I'm not to far from there, maybe an hour, I'll try to go check it out this weekend, some freinds from L.I. sent me pics of it, Now I've got to go check it out, do you know if its on rt. 7 ??

I finally got time to check out the Gorilla , pretty cool for a Vermont road side attraction, its at a place called Pioneer Auto, the sell rusty late modle cars/ trucks,not alot to do w/VWs.

Winter cars. In Europe I had a Renault 4 for the Winter. Heater worked good. I sure liked my GTI for the Summer...

Yea,most all the cars @ this place were larger, gas guzzler types, all w/ that RUSTY New England charm. Rolling Eyes

Ok,
I get the part with the VW in the air. What puzzles me is what is going on with the lower hand? Was there a Mrs Gorilla there before being goosed or what? Either way it looks un-wholesome, bound to end up as an election issue with some conservative or religious group.
