The topic of the VW Bug gorilla in western Vermont came up recently but I couldn't find my photo of it. Here he is. Enjoy. (If anybody knows the year of that bug I'll stick the photo in the appropriate gallery; I didn't want to offend anyone.)

Based upon what I can see of the bug, I think it is a 1973 standard beetle. _________________ Any opinions stated here are my own, otherwise someone else would have said them. |

Winter cars. In Europe I had a Renault 4 for the Winter. Heater worked good. I sure liked my GTI for the Summer... _________________ "Use the SEARCH, Luke" But first visit the Vanagon FAQ!

Yea,most all the cars @ this place were larger, gas guzzler types, all w/ that RUSTY New England charm.
They looked so nasty I did'nt want to let my DC near them........

Ok,
I get the part with the VW in the air. What puzzles me is what is going on with the lower hand? Was there a Mrs Gorilla there before being goosed or what? Either way it looks un-wholesome, bound to end up as an election issue with some conservative or religious group. _________________ Geology with a Syncro rocks!

The EPA made them do that to catch the oil leaks. _________________ The memories of a man in his old age, are the deeds of a man in his prime.
