Beware this seller has ads for wheels and carbs. I paid him for some carbs. Now he won't reply to my e-mails.

Yes I have the carbs right here. I've sold stuff online on ebay before,
using my cousin's account. Look up filaraki99 on ebay when you get the
chance and check out the user comments. In any case with Paypal you are
protected from any trickery. Furthermore, I can send you proof that I've
shipped the carbs out so you can set your mind at ease... As for shipping,
it would be via international air mail. Hope that clears things up for you!

I know this is very very silly of me, but I made a typo. The correct address
is [email protected] and not [email protected] . The latter does NOT
exist so there should be no problem. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience!

Sounds a bit fishy, but international mail can take forever. I sent a set of motorcycle carbs to a guy in Paraguay and it took 6 months (seriously).

Paypal can only get your money back if it's in the account.

I have made a paypal inquiry and claim weeks ago. No reply.

The seller has never replied to say that he sent them.

The seller said, in one of his emails in june, that he was in lebanon . if that is where the carbs are shipping from, it may be a while before you get them.

I was interested in (2) 4.5X15 Porsche Fuchs and (2) deep dish 6's. He sounded legit, I said I felt uncomfortable sending $ to Lebanon, he said if I felt uncomfortable to send the $ to his cousin in Los Angeles and his cousin would wire him the $ and the wheels would be mailed I told him to mail the wheels to his cousin in Los Angeles and I would drive there and pay his cousin for the wheels. I give his cousin the $ and I get the wheels in my hands. Apparently Ol' Omar didn't like that idea. The deal on the wheels was very good and I almost believed him, thank God I didn't send the $.

I suspect if they didn't get in the mail in June, they ain't making it to the post office now. I hope Omar's oval didn't catch a rocket.

That Paypal refund thing is a joke. Anyone who is going to rip someone off isn't going to leave money hanging around in their Paypal account. It's faster than a money order but never think you will get your money back if things go wrong. It only works with honest sellers and with them it's not an issue anyway. More effective is to contact your credit card company, they can get your money back, assuming you used a credit card. Not the same if you draw off your checking account.
