Bending the ebay rules here a bit to share an interesting photo found on Ebay Germany, showing what appears to be a kdf era kab plus the first time I've ever seen a photo of the Heb hardtop coupe, enjoy:

Both those pics have been printed on various books & magazines. The pic of the hard top Hebmuller is the most often used/seen.

I have heard that there is a hardtop Heb in England somewhere being restored now. I think it belongs to Bob Shail, but not sure.

There are no Heb hardtops around. The car you are thinking of is probably the Stoll coupe.

That hard top heb was totalled in a car accident, thats what I read anyways. The Stoll Coupe has been restored for years. Doesn't VW own this car now?

Hello everyone , Im just a lurking newbie here but wanted to add my two cents. Correct me if im wrong but isn`t this a front view of a hebmuller coupe that your talking about ?

Yes, but it was totalled. The car does not exist anymore.

Love the wipers....Wondering whom will be the first to make an authentic replica of the Heb coupe? The Ratclyffe is underway, as well as the split kab and Heb now, seems someone surely would be up for this project at some point.
