i need to raise my beam up its too low for the 145s i am running, i have drop spindles and i want to rase the beam back up to see if that will help. the issue is that the car went lower when i tried to adjust it, what am i doing wrong? help ineed to fix this today.

you just adjusted them the wrong way. Raise the front of the car, loosen the adjusting nuts. The set screws should slide upwards. retighten and check to see if the height is where you want it. |

SO I FIGURED it out...you loosen the nuts on the adjusters and the shocks and the tie rods then jack it up. then the adjusters will move. |

Jack the car up off the ground, loosen the nuts on the beam...
Let the wheels fall down ( may need a push ) then with the nuts still loose slowly lower the car down just above the height your looking for, reach up under the car and snug-up the nuts as best ya can ( enough to hold ),Jack the back up and tighten the nuts up... lower the car back to the ground remove the jack push down on the front of the car to help it fall into place...Take it around the block see if your happy with the height repeat if necessary until you get the ride height you looking for...
