Ok,
This is a 67 that spook picked up a month or so ago, and we decided to ratride it. It will have new pans, 4 inch spookified beam, new brakes, urethane bushings and tranny mounts, 1600 dp. The pans are painted on top with gloss black, and have 2 coats of spray-on truck bed liner underneath. The body will stay exactly like it sits with the exception of new seals, a new windshield, and a few other minor things that need replacing. Let us know what you think.

Gene, in the Hoodride Handbook the pan should be left alone, the rusty floor adds to the overall look and feel of the true Hoodride....................also take the front brakes off and put spindle mount wheels on it. Laughing

LOL, yeah I aint sitting MY FAT ASS in them rusty pans and driving around. As far as I am concerned the outside can look that way, and the inside can be decent and its still a hoodride.

BY the way, what do you guys think of the welding, this was my first time to use a MIG, and I just picked up the gun and went to town, no practice at all Smile

Looks like a fun project. What kind of wheels are you going with? What about the interior? Have fun.

We are going to run stock chromies on it for now, 205/40s rear, 145/40s front.
Interior will be stock lowbacks, just recovered

I am bro. We are going saturday morning to empty out all of my stuff from storage and bring it over to the shop, so I can start on the pan replacement and getting the chassis cleaned up and painted.

Thanks man.

Yeah, I plan on documenting my project very well. Money is just a little tight right now, so its kind of on hold for a couple of months.
