Isn't that a Toyota or another Japanese brand car antenna....? I THINK that's the case... |

They are quite common on ebay.co.uk. I think they are around 20 gbp. I need to get round to changing mine-another job for the winter! _________________ My name is Roy |

It's the same cowl mount antenna used in pre-67 beetles & bay window-down busses. Don't confuse it with the regular vanagon antenna that a 67+ beetle uses, this one mounts flat to the body and is available with a black or chrome base. _________________ Midwest Autosavers, Inc. Woodstock, IL |

After a closer inspection the regular Vanagon antenna would point the staff up, while this cool one lays it on the A pillar!
Wait, the aircooled 80 vanagon had it flat to the A pillar and had a little plastic clip at the top to hold it.
Damm kids broke the one off the parts shed _________________ cars come and go, VW's live and breathe! |

Thanks Dr Darby - I'm ordering one today.
I like the way it lies down in line with the A-pillar
