Having been totally frustrated with the woeful stumble of my 009 and researching its unpredictable advance, I turned to Glenn in hopes of a solution. He recommended one of his restored Bosch 019s. This is for my 1776cc with dual Kad 40's that's in my '71 Westy Camper. Block bulit by NSRacing. Even without going the vac porting on the Kads and putting in an SVDA, Glenn's 019 has made a world of difference. Like night and Day. His dizzy arrived within a few days professionally packed and got here safe and sound, complete with the "O" ring, points gapped, and ready for install. Excellent service. Any one here on Samba that wants to alleviate distributor problems can expect nothing but the best satisfaction with Glenn's work and expertise.

Terrific guy to do business with. He was very clear and responded to all my emails promptly. Packaging was superb. Most importantly the distributor is fantastic. Best thing I have ever done for my engine! Would definitely recommend him to everyone. _________________ 1956 Beetle - Jungle Green.

Dave... you need a inside shot to show how nice it cleaned up.
As with our other transaction, it was a pleasure dealing with you. _________________ Glenn

The Blue Screamer 019s have a unique finish. It's not only a blue/green paint but it has a "hammer tone" finish also. I've had a few paint shops custom mix paint but it never really matches the color and finish correctly. On ones where the paint is too far gone I simply strip them and paint them black, but if the finish is in decent shape I carefully clean them.
I've seen other people sell restored Blue Screamers but they are using a Rustoleum Hammer tone spray paint that isn't even close to correct. Personally they should just leave them alone.
Another odd think about the Blue Screamers is they were painted fully assembled. So the screws, cap clips and even the condenser are painted blue. That's why there's a black spot on the back where the condenser mounting tab covered the body.
Here's my NOS Blue Screamer that I use as a "standard measure".
Here you can see the paint on the screws, distributor cap clips and there's even some overspray on the BOSCH badge.
If I can ever completely match the color and finish, i'll contact everyone that has one that i've restored and i'll offer to paint it for free. _________________ Glenn

The man from New Yawk runs a first class operation. I wish more people in the industry took as much pride in their work/product as he does. Pleasure to do business with.....Jim |

Glenn's work is outstanding. Quick with replies to emails and questions and super fast shipping too! My new 010 works perfect and out performs an 009 in all areas. It even looks 'cool'. Thanks Glenn

I've never seen a 010 with a DTM in the background. Old School meet new.
I like it. _________________ Glenn

Glenn does excellent work and is a dedicated craftsman who is ensuring these cars and buses we all treasure, run and function as they are suppose to. Quality and attention to detail are second to none. I am very pleased with the job he performed on my distributor and I would recommend his services to anyone doing a restoration. |

Just had a nice transaction with Glenn. He is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him to anybody that needs his services.
The most important thing I liked about him was his patience, while I kept leaving on trips.
Thanks again Glenn, and sorry it took so long to post the feedback.

Well here is another one for Glenn. I got a 40 hp dizzy and it is perfect!!! After I installed it I was removing the cap and one of the clips broke. I sent him an email and within 30 minutes I get a phone call from him(he had to look up my # and I live out of state from him) making sure what broke and said he would drop a new one in the mail the next day. How is that for service? So if you ever need a dizzy give Glenn a call you will not be disappointed. _________________ Matthew Tolbert

Without your breakdown pictures on your website I wouldn't have dreamed of taking apart my distributor myself - although a different model it inspired me to do it myself. Without your help with a proper condenser bracket I wouldn't have been able to get it back together.
Not only that, but it arrived two days after you sent it - super quickly!
Thank you very much for your knowledge and help.
Very highly recommended! _________________ Scott Hoffman
