Has anyone used Valspar automotive paint? I found it at a local auto parts place and was wondering if it's any good. |

I have been using Valspar for years and it's been a good product for me. I moved away from their basecoat though, but love the 4400 clear. Spendy but a great clear!! |

I used the Valspar marine paint on my pop top and it works great. Sticks like crazy. _________________ "I reject your reality and replace it with my own"

Valspar is a contract mfg (basically) their paint brands are numerous.
If memory serves correct John Deere, Fleet Farm etc are all Valspar.
There are some high-end paints that are really valspar

I paint cars for side money and have used their dtuff. Its good for the price but I only will use it if I am doing a complete paint job and not trying to match a part. |

You may want to try Genstar if you want good matching capabilities. Genstar is new and owned by Northstar Coatings, and geared towards autos that are not necessarily fleet or heavy duty. |
