Does anyone know who made these?

They fit 36hp heads, not 40hp. made from aluminium, with an "R" on both left and right manifolds. A 28PCI carb fits.

Well, they're not Okrasa and they're not Express (Autotechnik KG / Hannover) either...

These are repros, I think of an older set, possibly of the ones you've got there?

I meant to add that one of the manifolds says RETHWISH on it, you can almost make it out in the picture there..

Hello there,

I have a question about the Rethwish : can we install it on the cylinder heads of a stock 1200cc engine of 1961 (a 34 Bhp DIN to 3600rpm and 40 Bhp SAE to 3900rpm)?

What's the history of the Rethwish manifolds? How we can recognize OG and repro.....?

Thanks for answer.
