Noticed the other day while under my Bus that the PO has removed 2 pieces of cooling tin, one piece on each side of my engine. The missing pieces are about 2 inches tall and 3 inches long. Looks like each piece was held in place using 3 screws. The missing pieces go on the tin that wraps around the heads on the transaxle side of the engine. Oh, and this is a Type 4 engine. Does any one know what I am missing and where I may be able to find them? Can you post a picture so that I will at least know what to look for? Thank you for your replies!
