I did not know about this thread, before i sent him money...Also, i am not going to judge someone's character, by someones experience. I wasnt in the transaction between the 2. I really like hiswheels and they will look good on my ride. Like i said, when i talked to him on the phone, he assured me and explained everything he does and will do when he recieved my money. I do appreciate the heads up though. He is in california as i am.

Seems to me, if this Randee has been in biz for 7 years he'd have people working for him, if his products have "taken off" like it sounds. Or at least someone handling the computer end of it, so he can keep busy MAKING his products. And it takes a WEEK to weld and true em up?? Must be slow as frozen snot LOL (probably farms em out to someone else)

And also being in business for a few years, why would he have to "round up" the cash for ANY refunds? He should HAVE $$$ in a business bank account, or stuffed under his mattress, at the very least! And refunds should be for the FULL deposit paid, not "part of it"

Received this money order on Monday and emailed Randee immediately to advise that it was of no use to me. Still have no response, so until such time as Randee pays up, or proves what a stand up guy he is, I will keep the evidence rolling.
I can't accept that he sent this in good faith, as an International payment.
I have whited-out the personal details.

The " Negotiable only in the US" is not very hard to miss, or he might be sight impaired thats why everything takes so long.

Also why is it only $380, when you paid $400, he did offer paypal on his adverts and so thats how you paid, then he says that as Paypal take a commision hes not going to refund the full amount.
This guy shouldnt be in business if he doesnt know how to conduct transactions.

Haven't heard a thing from him.
I'm gonna send the mo back to him so he can turn it into an International money order. USPS say that's the only way it can be done.
I'm concerned this could take a very long time.

Yeah, It's not like the $400 is gonna break me, it's a decent amount of money, over $500 Aus$'s. But it's enough to expect him to have the decency to return, after keeping me waiting for so long for a set of wheels that were gonna take 30 days. And without one communication to re-assure me they were late but coming.
What really pisses me off is that I sold a perfect middle and rear row of early splity seats, among other stuff, to fund the wheels. So I don't have the seats or the wheels or the deposit.
Thing is it has probably cost Randee a whole lot more, and he has had the power to put it all to an end at any time. So the longer it takes, the more it costs him. That alone tells you what kind of business person he is.
I'm in business too and I know sometimes stuff happens and you can't keep your promises, but a single timely call can fix it. Communication is all it takes. Communication shows you care. As long as you deliver what you promise.
Randee just has to work out how long he can afford to shoot himself in the foot. Just hope it's before he discovers he can't walk any more.

Well...sent the money order back to him last week, and emailed him two weeks ago with instructions how to change it into something I can use. He'll have the money order now, so......just waiting for him to do the right thing...again.

I have been reading this thread from the beginning. It seems like Randee treats domestic vs. foreign buyers differently. For that, I lament for all of the honest sellers on the Samba. I believe that he is "embarrassed" to come in here and explain what is going on. He knows how to use Samba but is just a lame ass to explain or make things right. The majority of sellers on Samba are honest folks. This idiot just gives everyone a bad name.........

I've had no response to any communication I've sent to Randee, since he sent the mo. So I wasn't able to arrange anything with him.
I wouldn't ask anyone to go "collect", if that's what you mean.

Just an update for everyone.. Randee called me saturday morning and said he was sending the wheels out and wanted to make sure he had my address right. He called me again on monday and gave me the tracking numbers for the 2 boxes.
