I was able to obtain the Volmac folding shifter from that seller for a fair price. |
His other ads are spot on, but he's on drugs if he thinks he can sell that POS for anywhere near that price. _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Dobee, Dobee, Do |

Branfreshfinds... he sells on Ebay also.. sometimes his prices make sense.. sometimes.. it appear he has been smoking rock for a week before he posts his ads. Not sure which it is.. or could be both. I could have picked up a set of these at the Copperstate that were in excellemt restored condition for 450.00 .... but I dont have the car to put em on. _________________ DB

That is a nice looking unit. Nicely preserved, original and complete.
Now, if the asking price was around 1/3 what it is, it would be much closer to reality. _________________ The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance, but the illusion of knowledge

I tend to think in Canadian dollars and Canadian prices. Up here, an asking price of $5K would be a bit high, but not laughable (like $15K)
And yes, 56's and 57's have the dubious distinction of being the over supplied fat chicks of the oval world _________________ The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance, but the illusion of knowledge
