Hello, I'm building a 2017, I want to keep the piston at the top of the hole as much as possible. I want to use .060 copper head gaskets with .010 deck, (55cc chambers 8.6:1) Do I need to notch the outer rim of the piston to clear the Gaskets?, or how much deck do I need to clear the gaskets without cutting the pistons.?

Or should I not use the copper and run .045 deck and adjust the head cc's?

It will be a semi-hemi chamber. will run 8.5:1 compression

78.8 CB Crank
Scat rods arp bolts
044 cnc round Semi hemi
90.5 B pistons Still need to cut barrels (.095 deck)
web 218 cam
1:25.1 rockers
46mm Sims kadrons.

I did a search, could not find any thing close.

Thanks Scott

If you have .010" in the hole you'll be fine. They pistons won't come close enough to the copper shims.

If you have the material to remove in the chambers the .045" deck would be a better set-up...
