I'd like to get rid of my side vent windows and replace them with single piece cal look windows. I know I can the rear side easily but what years have the single pane middle and slider-door windows?
Also, any opinions on the heat factor? Rear passengers will be rare, but the summers have been getting hotter here in the northwest. _________________ 1978 2.0 FI Bus |

My 1970 Kombi has the ventless middle window on the driver's side, but it has a vent on the passenger side. The weird thing is a 1970 deluxe we have has a vent window on that window, so I don't know. I guess you need to find an early bay kombi (identified by the headliner ending behind the drivers head and no white painted roof or side chrome trim) since the 74 kombi we used to have had a vent on the middle windows. _________________ -James T

Our '70 also has the fixed-pane center window... they sure do look smooth.
