Does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap way to patch the 3 square holes on the side of the westfalia, where the water/etc used to be?

thanks!

Cheap would be a Grateful Dead sticker.
Better, would be to go to Home Whatever, and get some aluminum sheet. The sheet should be long enough to cover the three holes. Trim it to size with some snips. Clean off any sharp edges with a file. Tape it in position and go to the back side and scratch the screw positions through the existing screw holes. Remove the piece and drill the holes you marked. Paint the piece to your desired color. Put it back on with a couple of screws to hold it in place. Put some masking tape on the margin outlining the piece. Remove the piece, put some sealant of some kind on the van. Screw the piece back on, and wipe off any excess sealant. Remove the tape, then attach Grateful Dead sticker on the piece.

Seal up the old covers and put them back on.

Some people pay a lot of money for those holes! It's called a westy.
I say keep'em in case you need a gun port. :2gunfire:
