All,

For your latest update on the price of our cars... NADA list a 74 in "Low" condition at $3,600.00 and "High" of over $11,000.00 so we are getting some respect out there...

Make sure that your insurance agent has these numbers...

Here is the link to the page..

74 - http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/ValueCategoryRepo...4&ColorId=

73 - http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/ValueCategoryRepo...3&ColorId=

Crying or Very sad You're killing me, 4Danica! CT loses another Thing? Yours is one of the few that survived the road salt of 30 winters, and you're taking it from us? Oh well- I guess it deserves to take it easy. You'll notice that in Texas, 30+ year old cars are common, so people will actually know what the Thing is!

She'll be happy there... I got her from VT anyhow... so she's not really made CT her home yet!

just wait until the new Adam Sandler movie comes out. Drew Barrymore drives a VW Thing in it. I'm sure this will increase the "cool factory" in an already cool car. Therefore the blue book value will increase.

There must be a mistake there. The 74 should be worth more because there are fewer of them. Wink

Whenever I'm in Mexico talking to the locals about the Things up here, they never believe me when I tell them a 74 Thing (Safari) is worth more than a 74 Beetle of the same condition. They just don't get it.
