Hi all,

Does anyone happen to know where/how the power steering pump
mounts on a Vanagon diesel? Maybe a pic of your pump/bracket if you
have a N/A or TD (same setup?) van. Just about at the end of the motor
swap project and this is probably my last hurdle.

Thanks!

Reiney

Oh! it's harder than it looks. I used a mix of 1,6td and 1,9td AAZ Jetta
brackets and it wasn't simple. Maybe someone has found a straithforward
way. The pump mounts to the bottom of the block right by the oil pan.

The main problem is interference from the water pump pulley.

which you get around by doing this

so you need the appropriate extra water pump pulley. You would
get the best info on this from these guys
