Any tips on replacing the master cylinder on my 67 bus. I have installed the new one but I couldn't get any brake fluid to come out when bleeding the brakes. What gives?!!! |

Hi ajbsd,
Dual circuit?!?! If so you need to over adjust all the brake stars too tight. Then bleed the front brakes first starting with the left front.
Good idea to bench bleed the MC first or as we like to leave a brake line off the MC after getting it in the bus. Pull down the brake pedal while you are underneath, and before letting it up, put a finger over the brake line hole. This will cause the brake fluid to be sucked into that brake cylnder circuit. With the dual circuit you need one line off each circuit cylinder. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available!

I just did a dual circuit and I didn't have to bleed the MC. Just had to do it in the correct order; RF, LF, LR, RR
Worked fine! _________________ Copyright CJ Industries, Inc.
