Engine tin diagram

Does anyone know where there might be a complete engine tin diagram on the internet or on this site that shows all the engine tins and where they go? I'd like to look at one as I think I may be missing a piece or two. It's for a '69 Beetle with a '75 1600 dp.

I don't believe I've ever seen parts no. 7 or 8 before, for that matter, I've never seen either of those assemblies before.

These diagrams cover a wide number of years, including much later engines.

7 & 8 are the lower cooling tins with flaps for the "stale air" heat exchanger cars up to 1963-1/2

That's good to know. I thought I was gaining ground on replacing my engine tin, until I saw that particular diagram. My 72 should be ok.

Does part no 11 have a matching right hand tin? Is this the pice that the top cylinder tins screw to?

They're all important. If they weren't needed the factory would of left them off.

Mid America has them listed, but not shown, in their engine tin listing. $13.00, 306-104 and 306-105. Wasn't sure where they went until now. Also, try the classifieds here.

What about pieces 44, 49, & 51? It looks like they seal up the heat riser. Do parts 49 & 51 fit inside 44? I found 44 for sale @BFY, but not the others. And part 42, does it seal up the pre-heat hose?
