Just bought a 1973 181 thing hardtop. I purchased a soft-top and frame. would like to sell the hardtop $750.00 Burbank, ca.

| Place a classified in the thing parts wanted section of the classifieds and post a classified ad with pics of the hardtop in the thing parts for sale and mention that you will trade for a soft top. |

| Is it a factory VW hardtop or a FiberJet hardtop? The FiberJets have a silver sticker on the rear, right below the rear window and centered. |

| From what Ive heard factory VW tops have some sort of sticker inside the front of the top behind the drivers side sunvisor. It supposedly has a VW part # of ZVW ---something. If you have a factory VW top, I have a soft top I may consider trading. I think we are local. |

| Im cornfused.........in your initial post yesterday, I thought you said you were looking to trade for a soft top. Now it looks you are saying you have a soft top, and you want to sell the hardtop. Im not looking to buy a hardtop, but I would be willing to trade for one. Email me on this further. |

| After some research, good frames seemed to be a problem. So late afternoon purchased a new frame and top complete, from the Thing Shop. I will be changing the post, sorry. |
