This came with my oval. It was used as an extra tank. It was mounted in the car, in place of the rear seat. Can you all tell me what years it fits? And what it might be worth? The inside look new as well.

Thanks Fellas

Well its got a fuel sending unit. Not sure what year those fuel sending unit tanks started but definitely not earlier than '58. They are re-pop'd now for a reasonable price.

Bus 10 gallon tank, '65 or so vintage. Price it new and take it from there. Cool

Fuel gauges came standard (I think) in 62, so it would be a '62 to '67 tank unless something else changed before '67.

Actually, I believe the '67 had a one year only bump on the top, no?

yeah Culito i think you are right saying a 67 tank would have the little hump on it that makes everyone believe it holds more gas(which i have heard is untrue)so i would rule it out as a 67 tank. Bucker you should be able to sell it as it looks clean and non rusty.

Also a fatty tank is sometimes used by split owners who wish to have a larger tank so if you should stumble upon one of those i would not toss that either unles it was shot.
