|
|
I have a '73 beetle that I would like to get serviced but have no knowledge of mechanics in my area that work on bugs.
Anyone know of a good mechanic in the Roswell/Alpharetta area of Georgia?
Or know of a site that might have a listing?
Or better yet, someone in the area want to give me a helping hand on a few repairs (oil pan studs replacement, gas hoses). I'm not yet knowledgeable to do it on my own and I don't have the proper tools.
I'll provide the beer. |

...or Tim's VW in Austell, Ga(770-941-1870)....or Atlanta Import Restorations in Marietta,Ga.(sorry, i dont remember their number, but they're in the phone book...)are much closer to Roswell. I heard rumors Doug was closing up shop, and turnin it over to his son-in-law.... _________________ "no matter where you go, there you are.." |

I ended up finding a place a little closer to my house.

I would offer, but you needed mechanical help, and I'm set up for paint and bodywerkinz....but, if you DO need any help, I'm local in Marietta also....right down the street from Mr. Mein . I just noticed, you're in Roswell, and Tucker is closer to you than Marietta or Austell??? Where in Roswell are you?? Like the Alpharetta side...???Fulton county??? _________________ "no matter where you go, there you are.." |

Yes, I'm in east Roswell close to Alpharetta. Close to Holcomb Bridge rd + Old Alabama rd intersection off of Exit 7a.
Northlake Service Center was 16 miles from my house. I believe the Marietta place wasn't much further. Though Austell is a good drive.
I am looking to get some body work and paint done after the engine is good to go. Do you run a bodywork business? |

Holy crap, I used to live over there, used that place and totally forgot about them. They do good work. Or at least they did in the late 80's. I guess in 18 years, things could have changed _________________ 71 SB
