future plans: install singleport kadrons, new roof, Berg shifter as soon as I recover from my back injury.

weeell... I donīt like the military camo that much...when Germany joined NATO in early 80s all vehicles in duty had to be repainted to match NATO standards. So they simply handpainted black marks over original military green. I purchased an original color from www.militaerlacke.de and Iīm going to return the car to its original pre-NATO beauty.

Take a look at my former 181 from 1969. It had been stolen from me in April 06 and brcause it was retired after 10 yrs of service in 1979, it was still in its factory color:

Installing speed parts on an original military 181?

Perish the thought!

I just heard my 71 military 181 sigh and cry in the garage!

my thing went topless. The top frame needs to be tweaked a bit and will receive new canvas top from AA Best Co.
