I BELIEVE it was here on theSamba I found an article where someone took their dash apart and reworked the lights with these neat looking blue lights I believe, kinda LED, had pictures and everything. I was going to print that off this morning however I can't find the post, I've searched for everything, anyone got a clue what I'm talking about?

Here is a site of someone that did this.

I got the link on Samba to his site. Its pretty cool if you ask me. Or with white faced gauges.

How cool would that be!

Cool, that's it, thanks. Guess my searching skills aren't that good.

The search feature on this site isn't that great. Better once you "master" it, but still not as good as it could be. I just happened to come across the link on a thread while I was just browsing the forum.

I would like to do a mod like this some day, but first it will be the white faces on the cluster.

If you do it, post some pics, how you went about doing it and the cost/time.

In looking at that one, was there not one on here where the gauges looked almost electronic? Kinda a blue hue to them? This may not be it.

I have not read the entire article yet, but it appears he rebuilt the dash with other parts.

lovedavdubs has done some really nice mods on his Westy, Lola. Check out his profile, as he has a link to his page on cardomain.com.

I particularly like his cool wood dash console.

Salud!
