Years ago, I bought bunch of NOS bus metal, including a BD engine lid, cargo door, ribbed bumpers, etc - $600 shipped for the whole mess; the guy threw in a stack of NOS 100mm gas caps to sweeten the deal.

Looking at the original question:
On a split
What is the greatist bargan someone got?

I got a divorce (split)
my wife left wanted: cash , no alimony, no child support
I stayed: kept the house the cats my 53 zwitter, 55 vert and my stash of old parts I have collected over 20 years

I think I got a bargan HA!

I missed this vert lid for 100.00, by a day. I tracked down the new owner and paid 900.00 a week later. Still not bad for a complet big spring lid.

And last but not least I have 1k in all of my wheels (including Resto). Three 4.5's and 2 deep 6er's all polished and painted by Al Reed.

I rememeber seeing that car in his back yard about 15 years ago, it was filled up with about 20 BRM's.
