Hey, this is an extra credit question, he gave us some hints. Apparently semi4 is something that used to be on vw's but is now illegal. thanks.

Semi4=Semaphores
These are turn indicators which come out of the body to show others which way you want to go. They were on very early bugs and busses. Export ore deluxe versions did not have them very long.
