Generally speaking, at what RPM do you think the stock pushrods would start to flex? _________________ Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me; I quit!" - Bill Maher |

Most of the situation relates to spring pressure.. I don't think they are likely to flex on a low spring pressure setup, like stock. The ramp rate and spring pressure is going to matter. |

Let's say they are being used with large valve heads equipped with single "heavy duty" springs and a 110 cam . . . _________________ Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me; I quit!" - Bill Maher |

Yeah, you're pushing it. They'll probably flex under that load, more likely under higher RPM too. I'd suggest HD aluminums over chromolys though. Chromolys do not expand with the engine and increased lash at higher temps is a fact with them.
