Hey all. I just moved to San Jose from sunny Chicago. I am bringing with me a freshly restored '65 21 window and am looking forward to meeting up with you all and getting in the local scene.
I also need to do some insurance work on my bus and would love to get some insights on the best shops for the following;
- Door repaint
- Wiring issues
PM if you have any insights.

Welcome Justin, that's a sweet looking 21-window you've got there.
Just to note couple other GTG around here in the Bay Area;
B.L.T.N. (Better Late Than Never) VW Club - meets EVERY Thursday at the border of Santa Clara/San Jose from 7:30pm-10:00pm or later (info/website on my sig).
Volks Regime GTG in Fremont In-N-Out held every last Saturday of the month, next meet is Sept. 29th from 7:00pm to whenever.

Hey Justin...you and I have never meet or will we any time soon! lol We just moved from the bay area to Chicago Land! We are in the Dekalb /Sycamore area rignt now.
I'm out in the area where if you drive your car any where, you get the red necks asking the question, "is that thar a Herby car?"  lol Some if these guys just kill me.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have a club meeting tonight, as well (which sucks, because I hardly make it to NAG as a result!  , and the Bug is long-haul driveable at the moment) I will let them know about the sale. (or keep it to myself, muahaahaa....oh, JK)
