I'm looking in to use 15-17" standard offset lowrider wire wheels on my 66 S/C.
Have never seen a split bus with a sett.
I have a straight axel and 4.5" narrowed beam.
Is there a reason why there is no t-2s wiht knock off wire wheels?

I'm thinking of the standard offset wheel and not the deep offset wheels.

I think it would look SICK (in a good way) if done right.

I will suspect that you will have all sorts of fitment problems trying to get something to bolt up.

Keep us posted if you decide to pursue the project.

I seen a splitscreen van rollin on what looked like 15 inch gold daytons / i think it was in an old volksworld, not a feature van but one they captioned from a show shot. it was green on the bottom i think 21 0r 23 window if my memory serves correct. from the caption i think they dig it. it was from a US show, so i guess it can be done..........i've been away from uk for 6 years so i know the mag is older than that. sorry can't be more helpful

I realy dont se a problem for the front wheels, it's the rear that makes me thinking. On a lowerd (rear) t-2 it's very tight to fit a wheel with tire. How mutch trubel will it be to fit a wheel when there is a adapter for the knockoff?
If you have a store that sell a knockoff wire wheels will you take the time for me to check if the wheels need to be fitted straigt on the adapter or if it's only straight fitted when the wheel is almost fitted on the adapter? I realy don't know how the wheels are fitted to the adapter... Rolling Eyes
