Hagus round hood mount mirror from 56 oval

I have a round Hagus hood mount mirror that came with a 56 oval. I'm trying to sort out a url to post the pics on. The same oval had an all ivory painted horn ring(unfortunately long since sold). I have seen a set of pear shaped ones for sale in classifieds http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=455290 and it is similar(same mounting standoff and arm style) but has a round 10.5 cm(4 1/8") mirror head on it.

The reflective material has since fallen off of the glass but I should be able to replace this part.

I am trying to find some information on the styles of Hagus mirrors that were available at this time and whether it was available later as well.

Are not the hood mount mirrors different than the door hinge mirrors? The arm on it comes straight up from the bracket and does not curve outwards like the hinge mount units do.
