I had to completely tear down my left and right torsion bars on my 67 Trike. The left one kept sticking and was all gummed up when I finally succeeded in getting it apart. Now they are all cleaned and ready to put back together sooo I go to my trusty, never let me down before Haynes manual. I started reading, re-reading and re-re-reading etcetera. Bloody He**. I thought I was working on a 67 VW Trike not the Damn space shuttle....
So I ask for my Brothers/Sisters PLEASE HELP me find a book, directions that I can read and understand. Something in good old layman terms for the dummies like me. My Grandson come`s home on leave for turkey day and I know he will want to play on her.
I look forward as ever to Any and ALL Help rendered by my fellow VW Nuts.
Thank You

The trike is light I would just assemble it so the arms have no or just a very slight amount of preload. Keep the bars on the side they came out off and coat the entire bars with a light coat of grease.
