well it finally snowed here in Mass, looks like i have to bring the bus home on thanksgiving break and leave it there. There's already a ton of salt and sand on the road. we only got about an inch and its going to go away. maybe a few more weeks of fun.

I'm still rollin' mine. No salt yet in the Boston area.

I patched up the some holes in the front heater tube of my '61 Mango tonight with aluminum tape. I had previously de-flaked and primered the tube to get the tape to stick better. I'll be driving it all over during the long holiday weekend, including a birthday party I'm chauffeuring for on Sat. night.

Crap! It was 84 here today. No clouds, perfect. Then comes a wind at about 5 PM and the temperature has plumeted all the way down to the upper 60's. I'm not sure if we'll make through the hellish cold or not.

Hell, if it was snowing here I'd be in a parking lot doing donuts in my single. Dancing

Here's a shot from last winter, I was out playing that day after the digout.

Maybe so today, but you've been there - there's this fine Texas pix from your gallery ...

well i drove home from fitchburg today and there wasn't any salt just some sand. We'll have to see how much longer to we can drive until the salt hits hard. they only salted someone of the roads in Fitchburg because its the hilliest town in North America next to Sanfran.

I grew up in Mass. I know what cold is, and I don't miss it, even though it's beautiful when it snows. It does get cold here, but usually "winter" is about 2 weeks long, and freezing is indeed a rare occasion. I wish we did get snow, but for the reasons that started this thread, I'm glad we don't. That's one of my favorite pics of my bus, thanks for reposting it.

Fitchburg is so weird when it comes to salt!! It snowed Saturday morning for a couple of hours and the roads are white here with salt!! Not sure if its overkill or just getting ready for tonight’s storm!!!

Took this in the morning of that first storm.....:

Ohh yeah......LOL!!!.....hey "orangebug60guy" Remember how slow my bus was going when we went to Boston back in September? Found out why!! I dropped a valve driving there!! Laughing THATS why I couldn't make some of those hills!!! So she’s been off the road since early October... Crying or Very sad .....We should convoy again next year though!

Though kool Cool , it's a good reminder of the need for wheather protection! Shocked

A roof and a slab will go along ways but an enclosed garage is ideal! Cool

It's been snowing here since yesterday morning, but it's melting.
Evidently they do salt the roads with the liquid salt now. Twisted Evil
Red bus does not get covered parking. I'd like to move some stuff around so I can pull it into the car port.
