Nope, nothing on the back but an old decal backing, yellowy, no faded print, not even worth a pic.

orignuthinman[quote}One of my Dad's flight students was a partner and distributor for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and that is one of his stickers. The irony is that some them still had the Ed Cholakian Auto Parts stamp on the back. That was my Dad's student. Here is a pic of Ed.

I'm confused; there were two Eds, Big Daddy and Ed Cholakian right? That pic is of the Ed that is still alive, the Vegas Ed?[/quote]

No, Ed Cholakian was a partner in Big Daddy's Enterprise. Yes, he is still alive and I talk with about once a month. He is not very big anymore...LOL!

Off subject, but try driving a VW Thing, when they ask those questions and you spend 10 minutes explaining that its really called a Thing.

I think the beetle bus thing might be an east coast thing cause i have never in my life heard that. I get the hippy van, the surfer bus all the time but it doesnt bother me.Every time i am explaing to people the cars i have i have to refer to my bus as one of the two so they can understand.

What is really funny is when i am driving the bug. I live in Los Angeles and every time i am out, I always get the same thing form black people(no offense but they love making up stories on my side of town) They all had bug with a Porsche engine and alloys"according to them".

The thing I get that gets old is does it have the windows all at the top, or isn't it exposed to have all those windows in the roof.

haha, yea....

When getting gas I sometimes have to swallow my pride and accept Van.

The cashier at the gas station will say, " You in the van?".... and after a long pause I reply with " yes... Rolling Eyes "

Laughing

I was getting gas the other day and the woman said, "DANG you need to paint that thing YELLA and put "the short bus" on the sides!"

I replied with, " NO..... Definately not."

Laughing Laughing
