I have a 2054cc engine and using stock push rod sleeves which are now leaking. I need to get new sleeves and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which ones to purchased and which ones to avoid. I have seen many different styles from spring tension to a nut in the middle that provides the pressure. Some are Nylon and some Aluminum, which route would be the best to take to stop the leaking. Thanks to all~

Stock tubes seem to work the best. The plastic ones seem to melt if they get hot.
If the engine is a stroker, you will need to stretch the tupes out a little before you install them.
And the seams go up.

VW's should not mark their territory.

I used the spring loaded ones on my '71 notch. It was convenient not having to take the engine out but it was still by no means easy---and they still leak--a bit. I would go with stock or maybe the the type with the expansion nut. Good luck

I used these with high ratio rockers. Worked great.
