Looks pretty nice and very red.

I'd be interested in more information on that rear bumper/hitch set up.

Has a smooth rear gate because one of its previous owners cut out the stamped sections for better vision when reversing. (?) The flat sheet was welded on by another owner to reverse the atrocity.
Everett, the hitch is secured to the chassis rails. The hitch and bumpers with pigtails were standard order for the PMG who were the Government run postal service back in the 60's. (Post Master General). I'll take some closer pics.
Meanwhile, here are some more recent pics.

Lookin good Brad.

If you put your hand in the ventilation slots, you can feel the original roof under the high top roof.

I thought so, but wasn't sure. So it's ducted to the engine compartment?. I've seen the S.African set-up on some sc's, and all the high mount aussie anti-dust vents, but nothing like yours... very cool!.... thanks, Dave

That hitch/bumper getup is a wild one. Considering all of the very functional hitches available... but they wrent good enough so the bumper has be cut in half so the hitch will fit. I love it!
It never ends, but I have to say its not bad...it just another thing that makes you wonder.
And that truck should be mine.

Out of curiousity what's the turning radius with that hitch? Doesn't look like you'd be able to turn very sharp before the trailer would hit the bumper. Either way that Bus is beautiful.
