don't have a pic of mine right now but if you look at the 3rd pic above towards the front of the bottom there is a black ear on eack side, that is the part that sits on the brackets welded to the heater channel on a pre 56
one other difference is looking at the springs there is a spot above the battery that the springs are shaped different.

If you're still unshure I can try and snap a shot this weekend
