1984, 1.9 ltr. Had to replace the plastic hose connector/bleeder valve today with a used one, it was leaking at the screw/valve. also removed the overflow tank to replace what looks to be the original hose. The top of the overflow tank has a little nipple with three small holes. Is a rubber cap/plug of some kind missing that may have rotted away or is it vented ?

The overflow tank behind the license plate is vented.
