Jon,
I have a few IECO catalogs at home. I'll see what I can find on those rockers. I've never seen those before...

I actually had one of those checkered nose bras for bugs for a few years. Bought it at Kelley Park in '98 for $5 (total steal) sold it last year at BYOB...guy offered me $75 for it. I wasn't about to say no to that.

If the gas cap you mean is a red rubber one that fits over top of a factory VW gas cap but says Eberspacher on it, then I have seen a couple of them. Not very many, but a couple... Maybe 3 or 4 total in the last 18 years.
They were actually fitted to cars back when the gas heater was installed to remind the gas attendant that the heater was there ( and probably hot ) before they opened your gas cap.
A cool item for sure...and I believe quite rare indeed.

I think the headlight guards (if they're the ones I'm thinking of) are relatively rare. I've seen one set out there and they were a little beat for $80.

I had a nos car once. Until I drove it. But back then it wasn't considered nos. Rarest thing I got is a nos set of Empi Sprint stars 4 lug, Nos Fuel Gauge, Nos Speedo. And a round fuel gauge and sender for a 60 beetle. Oh yeah I have a center seat for a 55 bus. _________________ "Ummm, yeah my car would run a lot better if I put the motor back in" |

There's been a guy on ebay selling those adapters for about 6 weeks now. Apparently he has a bunch of them. Guys were killing themselves to bid on the first few he listed, but then the fool started bragging about how many he had right in his ad. Now the price is down in the $20's I think. |
