ive got a 72 with ac...its not a camper though..just a normal bus. my ac unit is a volkswagen one though _________________ (O\U|U/O) Top Vw (o\UU/o) |

Yes. See the other thread about bus A/C for info on updating it and getting it working. |

DPD was an authorized supplier to VW in the southwest and west. There were other authorized suppliers in other parts of the country. The A/C unit in your bus was either installed at the port of entry by VW mechanics or at the dealer. DPD was located in San Antonio , Texas (near where I live). There was no factory installed units only the "authorized" units from VW. They are listed in the accessory manuals and have VW part numbers assigned to them. So if the question is "is it original to your bus" then the answer is probably yes. If the question is" Did it come that way from the factory?" then the answer is ... No. |
