I heard the other day, that KCW doesn't do beams anymore. |
they don't do air beams anymore. |
Exactly! We don't do much advertising for beams lately. No need to...plenty of restoration work, and so many "moonlighters" building beams out of their home garages these days. Its hard to compete with someone who doesn't pay taxes, doesn't have a bussiness license, doesn't have insurance , and doesn't have a single employee.
We still will build any beam(except airide) for anyone who wants one...just don't expect us to be the cheapest. You get what you pay for...a beam built by the guys who daily drive/build VWs, proven quality, tech support, and if full refund for unstaisfied customers (ask a moonlighter if he'll do that!) |
Try running a landscaping business with an influx from south of the boarder. Just like I am a mechanic everyone else is a Landscaper… |

if i were you id take a stock type 1 beam and cut off the bulk head supports make your new t1 to t3 brackets and bolt it right up....you still have stock like suspension out of a t1 with shocks and all...the stock t1 shock towers sit about a 1/2' away from the body...works well.
oh and i think its only 1 1/2 narrower than a t3 beam with wheels bolted up. ( i could be wrong on exact measurement) |
