With all the posts about how bad this or that part is, or how they wish they could drive their things in March, I decided to share today's efforts.

The stock style '74 muffler was cracked, rusted and leaking. It was definitely time for it to go. Living in Far South Florida, a stock system would rot away pretty quick. I decided to go for the Thing Shop split header system.

It went on super quick, no tweaking needed and sound VERY quiet. The car is as stealthy as a bright orange, air cooled car can be! The mufflers were ordered with the 1200 degree coating. I don't know how long the coating will last down here, but the first day of cruising around (temps near 80) shows no sign of deterioration.

So far I'm really happy with the mufflers and the coating.

Think Spring!
