Hah here's my '78 motor that I haven't really used in years. But I tell you; after not starting it for 1 1/2 years, I hooked up a battery one frosty morning a few weeks ago and after just a few REALLY slow cranks, that baby started right up. No new gas, starting fluid, tune-up, or anything. That engine always was a great starter in the winter. Maybe someday it'll be a Camper Special... or... anyone need an engine?

My first stab at a Type IV and fuel injection. I like it, especially that low end torque.

Here is mine in my Blue bus. It now has the seal but it will be pulled out and put into my Westy probably. Unless I decide to get something else to put it in before then. Smile

I know there is no heater tubes and engine seal, it was after I reinstalled due to a flywheel seal leak!!

Was your engine tin and fan shroud powder coated? The colors look alot like what i chose.
