I think it has a beam, but the wheels are really wide..
The cord is I think for an engine oil pre-heater, which was common on Swedish cars

Love the torque thrusts. Played out on just about everything but a VW. But since VW owners are so far behind the times, they work.

I thought they were most common on Australian cars.. I have a set of NOS ones for my vert, and was told they use the standard peanut style rubber seal and base?..

The 'puffed peanut' lights were used on semaphore beetles as a retrofit for signals;they only require two small holes,as the bulbholder sits on top instead of through the fender Wink
