Haha! @ mrafindley...

You'll need to visit so that we correct that view of yours. Wink

If they were big enough to eat a Pig, I may start to change my mindset about them...

Those brackets are sweet! Nice idea. Very Happy

I also use drywall screws. Except mine are mounted in my garage. When I lived in CA and Missouri (both require a front plate) I never had one and only got talked to once in CA about not having it. By a CHP in a gas station who told me " If you ever get a ticket, put it on there, get the ticket written off, and then take it back off"

Now I live in Kansas...no front plate required unless its a personalized plate..heck they dont even ISSUE you a front plate if its not.

BTW...trucks in MO only require a front plate. Thats half ton and up..not just semis.

You can buy those wire loom straps that WW sells in any Ace Hardware store. Lot less than $4.95 and no shipping! Those brackets are nice too!

Here's a pic of mine. I took a piece of strap steel and bolted it to the the 2 inside bumper bolts behind the bumper. Then I screwed the plate to the strap, I had to fold up the bottom of the plate to keep from bending it up on parking lot approaches but a hinge would have helped that.
