Poke around with a large needle to find the hole.
I was thinking that there wer just plugs in the B pillar holes on a 66. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

Approx 7.5 inches from top of door jam. Also just a little above half way from the center of pop out window hinge if you have it.

At the risk of sounding obscene...just feel around with your finger, you'll feel the hole through the fabric. |

there is no need to dance around the issue.
if your headliner is stock, look where your plastic loop grap handles mount to the post, go down roughly 6-8 inches and you will see a plastic plug with a philips head. unscrew it and bolt your belt up.
the right side of this pic shows you where. look at the black arrow.

if your plastic plug/screw/hole is under the headliner then someone replaced the headliner and covered the hole. factory, the screw/plug was on top of the headliner. _________________ 67 bug x3

If you don't mind me asking ... where are you buying your seat belts from? I'd like to add them to my 66 as well.
Thanks

Wolfsburg West has them. I got the Grey ones for my '65. I had identical ones in my other '65 I rolled 3 1/2 times in an accident. They saved my ass for sure!!! |

I had planned on getting them from wolfsburg west. They match the interior, and have the wolfsburg crest on them. The only downside is that their non-retractable |

I have Rabbit inertia belts in my 69 fastback. Saves the tripping over the belts getting in and out of the rear seat.
You can buy them for like $10 at salvage yards. And you can get all the hardware right there. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
