I was on search for an ipod dock station for my van but couldn't quite find the right one, so I came up with this. It is a 1:24 scale vw bus made by Maisto. Right out of the box it almost held my 60 gig ipod perfect. The only two things I had to do is remove the speakers from the doors and slighly tweak the door assembly (in the model of course). I removed the bus from it's stand and mounted it to my ashtray. The 1/8" jack holds the ipod firmly in place. If you want a more detailed description of the process let me know.

Thanks tencentlife!

I had fun adapting it and was stoked how it turned out.

If you bought the bigger R/C version of that model, it has a plug and speaker built in for your ipod etc.. So no need for a car stereo, of course its 3 times the size of that one, so it would take up the whole dash Very Happy
