Any recomemdations for restoring front seats? Thing seats are the same as 65-67 Bug convertable seats, right? Injected foam or horsehair?

Just had it done at a local upholstry shop since I wanted custom seat covers. The shop HIGHLY recommended horse hair. I got it from the Thing Shop. It came out great.

I've raved about the Thing Shop's upholstery kit in similar posts & would highly recommend going that route. I had no upholstery experience whatsoever & my seats turned out looking and feeling like new.

TMI also makes a foam seat restoration kit for Beetle seats, I used those with their THING upolstery on my seats and they are still firm after over three years.
