What wheels do you guys have on your bugs besides stock horn ring ones? Im looking for something different and cool looking. I like the old Formuling France ones but they are harder to come by. I want to change out the woodgrain one that I have in my bug now. I think its made by Grant. Anyone looking for a 3 spoke woodgrain wheel for their bug? _________________ 1963 Ragtop Bug |

i have a grant, 4 spoke, almost like an squished 'X'. smaller diameter than stock, but thicker grips. little harder to steer, but then, if i had the proper wheels and tires on the vehicle, it would be easier to steer also. _________________ that's not an oil leak... it's sweat from the extra horse power! |

Stock is smaller, like 15"-15.5". _________________ 74 rusto-custom type 1 Sedan - SOLD

IMO empi gts are the best looking steering wheels out there... but they are pretty pricey, unless you happen to find a set on a junker _________________ MAIMAS... read it backwards

Does anyone know the quality of the wood wheel offered by mid america motorworks? It looks nice in the pics, but its amazing what a picture doesn't tell....

Cory the Mid America steering wheel is excellent quality. I just went and pulled one off the shelf and it was heavier duty then I expected. We get the steering wheels from Dansk which they have some pretty quality stuff. We do have one of 396404 in stock I am not sure why the web says it is temporary shortage. If you have any questions or would like more pics send me an email at [email protected].
Thanks |

I don't have a picture of it in the car yet, but I've got THIS ONE from Mooneyes. Metal Flake blue and I got the one with holes in the spokes. |
