I followed the owners manual but did not do to well. I wonder how you all open your top and store it for proper driving on the road. I have seen a few pics here and some look rather clean and tidy and like it was easy to do. Not like the owners guide showed.
Here is one that looks nice to me. Not sure if it is proper or can can harm to the top but here it is below.
Any tips on easy opening of the top and cinching all down. I don't have any original straps or side plastic protectors so need to score some used ones.= or new if they can be found. Until then, I have some pretty colored bungees <grin>

Thank you VAN-go 180 for posting the video. Mine looks more like Amishmans as I don't undo the snaps over the fenders and rear. _________________ "Lili Marlene"

Real nice.
Thanks.
That looks much cleaner than my top I did. I will have to try your method.
Thanks again.

I do a combo of both of those. Leaving the top connected all the way around pinches it in the frame. I take off the sides but leave the back attached. Let the top hang off the back, fold the sides underneath, then fold it over the luggage tray. Then I fold it/roll it so that the back window is protected by the vinyl when you strap it down.
Sorry, I don't have any pics. It's a littel different each time, but it's a he11of a lot easier to put the top up fast if you get caught in the rain.
As long as the top is down, the rest is gravy. _________________ You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit.
